Information: Dr. Ping Luo is a professor of University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. She received her B.S. degree and M.S. degree, both in Industrial Automation, from Chongqing University in 1990 and 1993, respectively. She received her PhD degree in Circuits and Systems from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) in 2004. From 1993 to 2000, she was with UESTC, doing her research and teaching work in electrical engineering and automation. Since 2001, she has been conducting research on smart power ICs and systems in PITL at UESTC, where she is currently a professor. From 2002 to 2003, she was a Visiting Scholar with the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, USA. In 2006, she was on leave to gain more experience in the design of analog ICs at Interuniversity Microelectronics Centre (IMEC), Leuven, Belgium. Prof. Luo has published more than 30 papers in technical journals and conference proceedings, and holds 4 patents and 5 pending. She is a member of IEEE. Her current research interests include power management ICs for SoC and CPU, driving circuits for LED and control technique for high-efficiency power supply ICs.
