Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) (2004- ). From Sept. 1994 to Dec. 1997, he
is a doctoral student at College of Electronic and Information Engineering of Chongqing
University China, he graduated and earned PhD degree in Dec, 1997. From December 1997 to
January 1999, He went to the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of
Toronto, where he work as a visiting scientist. He then went back China and built up the Mobile
Computing lab of Chongqing University. From Sept 2002 to Dec 20004, he is a visiting professor
of GVU center, Georgia Institute of Technology.
Since last 10 years, He have been conducted as head 7 national funding research projects such as
NSFC, 863 program, international science and technology cooperation project under the China-
Canada governmental agreement etc. All above projects are related to wearable computing, mobile
computing, and wireless sensor network. Have been published about 40 papers. Among them,
about 10 are indexed by SCI/EI.

His Current research interest is as follows:
(1) Future new paradigm and pattern computing such as Mobile Computing and Wearable
Computing, context aware computing and Nature Interaction, touch/tactile computing and
projecting computing);
